- Why should we 'abandon' our old machines when they are still working? I
- agree that A500 owners should either considerably upgrade their machines,
- or buy 1200's but why should owners of acelerated 2000's and 3000's throw
- away their machines into which a lot of money has been spent.
-
- I have a B2000 (33Mhz 030, 12 megs 32bit, 1.5Gb total HD, CDROM) and a
- 1200 with 5 megs fast, 120Mb HD, Squirrel, CDROM, and ZIP.
-
- I don't see any point in selling the 1200 and buying a 1200+, and I can't
- afford a 4000T.
-
- The only thing I would consider buying from AT at the moment is the
- Surfer Internet software, and maybe WB3.1 roms if that is required to run
- that.
-
- However I may buy a low end PPC machine when they bring one out, however
- I still won't throw away the B2000, I can still use that to run my BBS.
